Experiencing God’s

Transforming Hope!.

8 Reasons

“But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He will stand upon the earth at last. And I know that after this body has decayed, then even without my flesh I shall see God!  Then He will be on my side! Yes, I shall see Him, not as a stranger, but as a friend! What a glorious hope!” – Job 19:25-27 (Living Bible)

Job was surrounded by death and pain. He had lost his children, he had lost his wealth and he had lost his health.  Job truly believed he was on the path of death.  But Job had Hope!

In the midst of his suffering and grief…  Job turned to his “friends” and said;

“Oh, that I could write…

with an iron pen in the rock forever…”

(verse 24)

What he wanted to memorialize in stone was the Truth he had come to understand and that it was of greatest importance… What Job wanted was about to say ~ he wanted people to remember for generations to come.  He wanted was to memorialize that ~ he knew… that he knew… that he knew… that God was with him and graciously loved him.

Job wanted others to know the truth about God’s character ~ God is all about redemption.  The truth about God gives us hope in the midst of the misery and pain we experience in this world.  God gives us hope even beyond the grave!

Our text today is that Job’s clear statement of Faith and Hope!

We are each given an invitation to walk with God each day, and learn this same hope and assurance!  God is eager for us to accept His Gift of Faith and Hope  as we experience His abiding, protective presence and guidance in the encounters of our daily lives He’s eager for us to walk with Him and realize the joy of the assuring Hope!

“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you. Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30

No matter what our circumstances are today we can be assured that God has us firmly in His Loving Grip!

So let’s go through this day ~ humbly walking with God…
